Founded by Dr. Mario Montoya, whose career spans more than 26 years in cosmetic dentistry, Smiles by Mario Montoya began in Colombia in 2019 with a design philosophy that earned international recognition — known to many as “The Billion Dollar Smile.” Today, that vision continues at the flagship Atlanta location in Sandy Springs, refined into a health-first approach centered on ultra-natural aesthetics, facial harmony, and long-term oral health, where every patient experience is guided by careful planning and refined results.
At our Atlanta location, clinical dental care is performed by U.S.-licensed dentists. Dr. Mario Montoya serves as the global brand and aesthetic founder, while our local clinical team provides evaluation, treatment planning, and care in Georgia. This structure allows patients to experience the recognizable Smiles by Mario Montoya philosophy with the clinical oversight and standards of a local U.S.-licensed dental team.

The Comprehensive Exam
In a single appointment, we take the time a real plan requires: three specialized X-rays, a professional cleaning, a structural evaluation, a Digital Smile Design presentation, and a private consultation with your doctor. You leave with a clear plan, a clear fee, and the financing options that fit it.

Our signature Ultra Natural Smile Design approach is built around balance, proportion, and authenticity. Rather than creating a smile that looks overdone, we focus on enhancing your natural features while respecting your facial harmony, bite, and oral health.
Porcelain veneers can improve the shape, color, symmetry, and overall appearance of your smile. Veneer treatment is planned with a health-first mindset for a refined result that still feels natural to who you are.
Designed for patients with worn teeth, missing teeth, failing prior dental work, or bite concerns. These cases are carefully planned to improve appearance, comfort, stability, and function across the full smile.
A fully integrated in-house lab with CAD/CAM milling, 3D printing, ceramic furnace, and sinter furnace capabilities — coordinating digital workflows closely within the same clinical environment.

Implants may be recommended for patients missing one tooth, several teeth, or a full arch. Our team evaluates your oral health, bone support, bite, and restorative goals to determine whether implants are appropriate.

For patients facing a failing or missing arch. Fixed provisional teeth on surgery day when the implants allow it, and a final monolithic zirconia arch once healing is complete.

Dr. Mario Montoya’s global aesthetic philosophy guides the brand vision, while our Atlanta doctors lead patient evaluation, treatment planning, and clinical care in Georgia. Dr. Mario Montoya does not perform clinical procedures in the United States.
